Paper Recycling


 

Did you know that you can recycle paper, newspapers, catalogs, magazines, phone books, junk mail, weekly

advertisement circulars, TV Guides, folders, construction and poster paper, shredded paper, spiral

notebook/theme books, office and school mail 24 hours a day 7 days a week at our school? (If dropping off

shredded paper - please put in a bag. If dropping off theme books - please take off the front and back

hardcover- the metal spiral may remain intact. You do not need to remove staples from paper. UPDATE: CARDBOARD IS NOW ALLOWED.

SafeSchools Helpline


We are introducing a Safe School Helpline™.

It is designed to assist you in reporting any wrong doing that impacts our
schools, our students or our staff-anonymously, so as to protect your
privacy. For example, you may wish to report acts of violence, theft,
drug or alcohol use, weapons or sexual harassment.
 
Just call from a touch-tone phone to 1-800-4-1-VOICE, ext. 359 (418-6423) 
or go to www.safeschoolhelpline.com to leave your information. Your message will not be traced, and you
will not be identified. The Safe School Helpline team will transcribe and
fax your message to school officials, so appropriate action can be taken.
 
Thank you for your continued support to provide a better education for
all New London Local Schools students. If you have any questions about the Safe
School Helpline, please call your school principal.

Vote for New London to Win New Technology!


 

Go to http://cdwg.discoveryeducation.com/wawl/ register once and vote daily for New London to win a wireless lab from Discovery education. Enter zip code 44851 and select New London.  Fill out the form and sign up for daily reminders.  The more votes the better our odds. Some questions that will be asked include: number of computers, 20-50; Technology goals (select the second option); educational technology is limited; Student use is once per week; we do not have technology based professional development.
