New London’s Winter Homecoming was held February 4th, 2012, in the cafetorium. Winter Homecoming attendants were freshman Isabelle Maiani, sophomore Alex Bowers, junior Addie Woost, and seniors April Bealer, Lydia Collins, and Erin Hamilton. Members of the wrestling team escorted the attendants this year, and they included freshman Noah Stumpf, sophomore Owen Neal, juniors Garrett Cunningham and K.C. Hale, and seniors Tyler Keathley and Cole Reed. Members of the court were introduced between the JV and Varsity games against Seneca East, and Lydia Collins was announced Winter Homecoming Queen of 2012. The Winter Homecoming danced followed the game. The student council sponsored a raffle to win a 32” flat screen tv, and the end of the night, Sara Young was the recipient of a new 32” tv. Overall, New London's Winter Homecoming was an event to be remembered.
